Breeding Goals
We have packed with llamas for 21 summers. We know what makes a good pack llama. At our ranch you will find quality pack breeding stock and trained pack llamas with these characteristics.
- Tall llamas with wither heights of 44 to 47 inches
- Ample ground clearance of at least 24 inches
- Well-muscled legs, chest and shoulders
- Straight well-proportioned and balanced body structures
- Light to medium wool with guard hair
- Packer's ready to work spirit
- Cool dispositions
- Intelligence
